How does a Program or Organization Achieve ASLSS Accreditation?

In considering a program or organization, the primary concern of the ASLSS is the quality of the professional service provided to the customer.

A program or organization achieves ASLSS accreditation when it complies with the requirement criteria policies, and procedures upon which the ASLSS review is based. After being granted eligibility, the accreditation will be granted once an organization or program meets the minimum compliance requirement.

The fourteen criteria employed for the accreditation eligibility are depicted as part of the Core Competencies and Guidelines

The ASLSS accreditation review process typically takes one to three month to complete, starting with a program’s or organization’s formal request for an ASLSS review.

ASLSS will promote your accredited program in the following ways:

    • ASLSS online newsletter and LinkedIn group membership
    • Providing accreditation check references
